Job Summary :
Salcomp Manufacturing USA is looking for a reliable Production Team Member - Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in Arlington, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment, performing quality checks, and ensuring that production goals are met in a safe and efficient manner. This role is well-suited for individuals with experience in a manufacturing environment who have strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities :
- Operate and maintain production machinery according to established procedures.
- Perform regular quality checks to ensure products meet company and industry standards.
- Adjust machine settings as needed to optimize efficiency and reduce defects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine malfunctions, reporting any major issues to maintenance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.
- Monitor production output to ensure targets and deadlines are met.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to safety, quality, and production.
- Assist with additional production tasks as assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience working in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety guidelines.
- Comfortable working with machinery and performing repetitive tasks.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and perform manual labor as required.
- Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
