Job Summary :
Salcomp Manufacturing USA is seeking a skilled SMT (Surface Mount Technology) Machine Operator to join our production team in Arlington, TX. The SMT Machine Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining SMT equipment, ensuring the accurate placement of electronic components, and performing quality checks to meet production standards. The ideal candidate should have experience in electronics assembly, familiarity with IPC-610 standards, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities :
- Operate and monitor SMT machines to ensure accurate and efficient electronic component placement.
- Load and unload feeders while ensuring proper setup and alignment.
- Inspect components and assemblies to identify and correct defects.
- Create and modify oven profiles for reflow soldering processes.
- Operate solder printers, reflow ovens, and Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) machines.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on SMT machinery to optimize performance.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, equipment maintenance, and any defects.
- Follow safety procedures and company guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
- Collaborate with the production team to optimize workflow and efficiency.
