Salem Academy Charter School (SACS) is a nationally ranked urban charter school north of Boston offering a rigorous college preparatory program to 480 students in grades 6-12. Responsibilities
Teaching 4 sections of High School History
Aligning curricular standards with state guidelines
Collaborating with Special Ed. and ELD teachers to support students with diverse learning needs
Building and maintaining strong school culture centered on achievement
Implementing common academic and behavioral procedures to ensure a structured, respectful, and achievement-oriented school
Inputting academic and behavioral data on the school data management system
Monitoring and analyzing student progress through standards-based assessments
Advising students through daily Connections class
Hosting Parent/Teacher/Student Conferences three times per year and communicating regularly with families
Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the success of the school mission
Participating in weekly professional development sessions (e.g., Curriculum Teams, workshops)
Participating in weekly Form Meetings (e.g., grade level teams)
