As a groomer with Salem Animal Hospital, you will have a clientele where your commission-based salary will let you create beautiful masterpieces. This position is for a groomer with at least two years of experience, which boasts a grooming portfolio displaying their work. As an experienced groomer, you know what it takes to be successful. Some of the responsibilities that go along with this opportunity include:
- Providing your shears and clippers
- Greeting clients and their pets upon arrival
- Washing, folding, and putting away towels used
- Sweeping or vacuuming the grooming room after each groom
- Cleaning of tub and tub walls after each washing
- Submitting needed supplies such as shampoo and other grooming materials to the manager for reordering
