Job Summary: The Campus Services Director is the key champion for the campus as well as the maintenance and custodial teams they serve. This role supports all areas of ministry through managing the use, upkeep, and security of the facility, grounds, and equipment.
The Campus Services Director will work closely with the Pastor of Administration to empower and support the work of ministry at Salem Church through strategic planning, budgeting, and maximizing available resources. Expectations
Staff is expected to maintain a growing relationship with Jesus that sets an example for those we serve and aligns with the teachings and beliefs of Salem Church.
Leadership Responsibilities
Campus/Facilities
- Manage and schedule teams (staff and volunteer) that handle all maintenance and upkeep of the buildings and grounds including landscaping, plumbing, utilities, HVAC, mowing, and custodial.
- Manage campus services budget – both yearly budgets and forecasting for future needs
- Manage security measures including contracts and procedures
- Act as primary contact with Salem Christian Academy to facilitate the relationship between the school and church
- Manage all vendor/maintenance contracts and inspections
- Lead in hiring activities for the campus services teams
- Schedule, manage, and approve all campus use including rooms and resources using online software
- Work with Wedding Coordinator and other staff/teams for weddings, funerals, and outside rentals
- Help facilitate clear communications between ministries, staff, and other key parties
- Represent Campus Services in monthly all-staff meetings
Other Responsibilities, if full-time
- Serve as primary contact for outsourced tech team
- Help implement, maintain and upkeep the database
- Manage office equipment and lease agreements
