Our family medicine team makes up about 50% of our large physician-owned multi-specialty medical clinic. At our South Salem Clinic, we have six FM physicians, one FNP, and three internal medicine physicians. We also have general surgery, endocrinology services, occupational health, urgent care and a robust OB / GYN department amongst our other locations in Salem and Keizer.
We use the EPIC for our EMR, Nuance / Dragon for dictation and DAX CoPilot AI for note building. We have a long history in our community (99 years and counting) and have always been on the cutting-edge for adopting new technology and processes.
Our onsite laboratory is a CLIA-licensed high complexity laboratory. We use Siemens for our major chemistry instrumentation and perform more than 80% of our testing in-house with impressive turnaround times. Our lab team also performs EKGs and places Holter monitors. Our medical laboratory scientists are only a phone call away to help with order selection or to deliver critical values.
Our South Salem Clinic has onsite general x-ray. Our other imaging services include : CT, MRI, ultrasound, mammography, bone densitometry, fluoroscopy and more. Radiologists are onsite at our Main Clinic reading until 5pm daily, with remote wet reads available after hours. We have in-depth processes and standing orders in place for imaging staff to follow positive breast cancer and lung cancer findings through to treatment and follow-up.
Our entire multi-specialty clinic is collegial and friendly. Our entire partnership gathers for a catered lunch meeting three times a month with individual departments meeting once monthly.
Our FM providers have a good amount of control of their schedules, from start and end times to limiting the quantity of certain types of appointments daily and when or whether they want to do telehealth visits. Each provider has a primary assistant and is supported by float nursing staff and administrative assistants. Each full-time provider has their own office and three exam rooms, with access to two shared procedure rooms.
