Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fence Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing various types of fencing, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in outdoor environments.
Responsibilities
- Install a variety of fencing materials including wood, vinyl, and chain-link.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to assemble and construct fence sections.
- Perform heavy lifting as necessary to transport materials and equipment.
- Prepare the installation site by clearing debris and leveling ground as needed.
- Execute concrete forming for fence posts to ensure stability and durability.
- Collaborate with team members on construction site tasks while maintaining a safe work environment.
- Conduct landscape maintenance around installed fences to enhance aesthetics.
- Follow project plans and specifications accurately to meet customer expectations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction or carpentry is preferred.
- Familiarity with hardscape techniques is a plus.
- Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Strong physical condition with the capability for heavy lifting (up to 75 pounds).
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices is beneficial.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong communication skills for effective teamwork on construction sites.
- English is strongly desired, and Spanish is helpful
