Your Role With Us :
- Maintains appropriate inventory levels, either through stocking or ordering, of items required for optimal departmental operations. Receives incoming supply orders and restock supply for both priority and regional lab.
- Monitors daily inventory levels by utilizing standard ordering practices based on usage and minimum quantities (PAR levels) as dictated by the department specialists and supervisors.
- Provide support and assist Section Specialists / Laboratory Management with Standing Order practices, recall notices, and Capital Purchases as needed.
- Operates within budget outlines and is well- versed in all facets of application of material management information systems program as outlined by the organization.
- Research, request quotes from acceptable vendors, and assist with acquiring materials for Capital Purchases, backorders, and product discontinuations.
- Complies with all regulatory laws regarding documentation, invoice maintenance, records, and storage conditions / security.
- Utilizes the Laboratory SharePoint site as a communication tool to document low items and waste.
