Your Role With Us:
Salem Health is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist Supervisor to lead our team in delivering exceptional patient care. This role oversees daily staff assignments, ensures compliance with policies, and supports continuous quality improvement initiatives. The supervisor plays a key role in fostering a positive work environment, providing mentorship, and promoting professional development among team members. Responsibilities include staff scheduling, onboarding new hires, participating in performance management, and assisting in department-wide projects and audits. Background/Expertise:
- Associate degree or bachelor's degree is required.
- Advanced Cardio Life Support certification required.
- Basic Life Support certification required.
- Pediatric Adv Life Support certification required.
- Current Respiratory Therapist License through Oregon Health Authority required.
- Reg Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required through the NBRC.
- Minimum of 1 year supervisory and/or lead experience in the field of Respiratory Care in a hospital setting required.
- 1 year of Critical care experience required.
