Therapy Aide, Acute Rehab Services

Your Role and Team – Acute Rehab Services:
Come join our dynamic and collaborative acute care therapy team that works to empower patients and problem solve barriers to patient success! As a therapy aide, you will work with occupational therapists, physical therapists and speech language pathologists at the bedside in the acute care setting. Other tasks include equipment tracking and cleaning, organizational projects and operational tasks to help keep the department running efficiently and smoothly. Ideally, this candidate will have availability to work a combination of weekday and weekend shifts.
Your Background and Expertise:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire or transfer into the role Required
- Valid Oregon Driver's License preferred
- Oregon State Board of Physical Therapy Licensing Board Administrative Rules requires an aide to be at least 18 years of age
- Strong organizational and clerical skills
- Experience with programs such as Excel, Microsoft, Outlook, and Word
- Epic electronic medical record experience
- Previous professional and/or volunteer experience in a healthcare setting
- Basic level of understanding related to medical terminology
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills
