As a Urology Hospitalist with Salem, you will work in collaboration with physicians, advanced practice providers and other members of the health care team to directly manage the care of patients in hospital, outpatient surgical and ambulatory settings.Provide inpatient consults and performs operating room-based procedures.Performs out-patient urgent but not emergent surgeries.Handles after hours calls, rounds on inpatients, and completes urgent urologic surgical procedures while on callDocuments clinical care in an appropriate, timely and accurate mannerDocuments and submits billing activity on a daily basisReviews charts as needed Assists in the development of policies, protocols, order sets and handouts pertinent to the Urology ServiceDevelops a referral base for urology patients Background/Expertise:Graduated from an approved school of medicineCompletion of an accredited residency program in UrologyAn unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of OregonCurrent DEA certificateBoard Certification in Urology by the American Board of Urology.
