Your Role With Us:
The Medical Telemetry Unit or D5, is one of four Medical Surgical Units that provide care to a highly diverse population with diagnoses of heart failure, sepsis, renal failure, respiratory failure, COVID and patients with multiple co-morbidities. Patients have multiple medical diagnoses offering a variety of healthcare experiences for nurses. Medical Surgical Nurses develop a well rounded knowledge base and are able to care for a wide range of different patients. The wide range of diagnoses coupled with the Care in Place model makes for a highly satisfying specialty. Nurses have the experience of caring for patients holistically and interact with multiple disciplines to navigate there patients through the hospital stay. They strive to provide an exceptional experience every time to patients and their families.

Background/Expertise:
- Requires BSN or non-nursing Bachelor's Degree with MSN. Bachelor of Arts in nursing also accepted. Candidates with an Associate's degree in nursing (ADN) also encouraged to apply. *Agreement to complete BSN within three (3) years of hire required.
- Less than one (1) year of nursing experience required.
- Unencumbered licensure to practice nursing as a Registered Nurse in the State of Oregon required one week prior to hire date.
- BLS required.
- Candidates applying must be able to begin in the April New Grad Cohort that will be held on 4/21/25.
