Job Description:
- As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide daily support to the unit leadership and respond timely to resident and family needs within the LPN scope of practice.
- You will use your nursing process, judgment, and skills to set priorities necessary to deliver quality direct resident care and make decisions promoting safety and quality direct care to residents.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and administer standard nursing treatments and medications, observing residents for desired or unwanted effects.
- Communicate and collaborate with care team members to revise and update the Nursing Care Plan or any pertinent findings, including lab and test results, incidents, and concerns.
- Monitor and document vitals, treatments administered, and residents' responses.
- Prepare, organize, oversee, monitor, and evaluate delivery of care for CNA assignments and activities, considering the category of needs and competency of personnel.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
- Licensed and currently registered in good standing in New York as an LPN.
- Dedicated to providing extraordinary, clinically sound, and compassionate care.
- Possess a spirit of cooperation, caring, and enthusiasm to create an atmosphere conducive to rehabilitation and optimal resident health.
- Have excellent communication, customer service, and organization skills.
- Work well under pressure and willing to work harmoniously with all staff.
