Certification Details BLS NRP EFM Job Details L&D / Post-Partum RN Days / Eves / Nights Rotate w / 1 Night of Call & EOW – 36hrs. Unit Name : Labor & Delivery / Post Partum Unit. Brief Unit Description : 25-bed Labor & Delivery Unit which encompasses : L&D, PP, NBN, 2 OR’s, 2 ANU rooms, RR. Salem Hospital is a 400 bed facility that has 220 Med Surg beds plus the ICU. Years of Experience Required : 3 years minimum. Skill Sets Required : Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Circulate, & Newborn Care. Clinician to Patient Ratio : L&D 1 : 2-3 Evals, 1 : 1 Active Labor, Magnesium gtt or EPIDURAL. PP 1 : 3-4. Patient Population : All. Bed Count : 5 LD Rooms, 12 PP, 2 OR’s, 2 RR, 2 ANU with 4 beds. Census : Average daily census 15-25 mother, babies and labor. EMR (Charting System) : EPIC. Floating Required : No. Rotating Shifts Required : Day Rotate position w / 1 Night of Call is (7a-7p, 11a-11p & 7p-7a). Eves & Nights positions are straight shifts. Job Requirements Active Massachusetts RN License. BLS NRP EFM (every 2 years) Additional Details A completed primary COVID-19 vaccination series that is approved by the FDA or the World Health Organization (WHO) OR an up-to-date COVID vaccine if a primary series was never received or completed is required. No exemptions or waivers (religious / medical) will be considered. Documentation of two measles vaccines, two mumps vaccines, and one rubella (German measles) vaccines or two MMR vaccines. Strongly Preferred. Record of 3 Hep B vaccines OR Proof of immunity via blood test. Vaccine required during flu season Sept 15th - April 30th. Document must be uploaded as PDF. No exemptions or waivers (religious / medical) will be considered. Must have documentation of TB skin test screening within 3 months of start date. Physician Statement signed by MD / DO / NP / PA. Within 365 days of start date. Vaccine within 10 years and updated upon expiration - Preferred. Upload attestation with date run, indicating date completed and findings.
