Certification Details BLS NRP EFM Job Details L&D/Post-Partum RN Days/Eves/Nights Rotate & EOW with 1 Night of Call – 36hrs. Unit Name: Labor & Delivery/Post Partum Unit. Brief Unit Description: 25-bed Labor & Delivery Unit which encompasses: L&D, PP, NBN, 2 OR’s, 2 ANU rooms, RR. Salem Hospital is a 400 bed facility that has 220 Med Surg beds plus the ICU. Years of Experience Required: 3 years minimum. Skill Sets Required: Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Circulate, & Newborn Care. Clinician to Patient Ratio: L&D 1:2-3 Evals, 1:1 Active Labor, Magnesium gtt or EPIDURAL. PP 1:3-4. Patient Population: All. Bed Count: 5 LD Rooms, 12 PP, 2 OR’s, 2 RR, 2 ANU with 4 beds. Census: Average daily census 15-25 mother, babies and labor. EMR (Charting System): EPIC. Floating Required: No. Rotating Shifts Required: Day Rotate position w/ 1 Night of Call is (7a-7p, 11a-11p & 7p-7a). Eves & Nights positions are straight shifts. Job Requirements Active Massachusetts RN License. BLS (required). NRP (required). EFM (required). ACLS (preferred). Schedule Information Days/Eves/Nights Rotate & EOW with 1 Night of Call – 36hrs.
