Unit Name : Davenport 9.
39-bed Medical / Telemetry Adult Inpatient Unit. Our patients generally have multiple medical conditions in addition to their admitting diagnosis. We have 20 private rooms and 19 semi-private.
2 years is preferred.
Floating Required : Yes.
Day Rotators may be rotated between (7a-7p, 11a-11p or 7p-7a) when needed. Night positions do not rotate. Rotation frequency : low.
Telemetry experience, interpret Tele Strips, Nursing Assessment skills, knowledge of medication safety and administration.
RN’s working with a PCA typically have 4 / 5 patients. RN’s working alone have 3 patients.
