Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support Job Details 5x8 hour days M-F Experience in outpatient hand therapy is required. Experience working with post-op hand surgeries and splinting is required. CHT certification preferred. POSITION PURPOSE : The Occupational Therapist is responsible for patient evaluation, development and follow through of treatment plans to support the mission of Salem Health. Education : BS, MS, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy, or certification by NBCOT required. Experience : Clinical experience in the practice setting is required. Job Requirements Graduate of a program approved by the Committee on Accreditation in Education of the American Occupational Therapy Association, and holds a valid license to practice in the state of Oregon or is license eligible. License must be verified prior to start date. BLS from the AHA within 90 days of hire required.
