Job DetailsRRT12 hour nights13 weeksASAP startThe Registered RCP, as credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care and licensed by the State of Oregon, shall be knowledgeable and proficient in performance of all Respiratory Care procedures and protocols including (but not limited to) CPAP/BiPAP, chest physiotherapy, aerosol therapy, oxygen therapy, incentive spirometry, ventilator management, pulmonary screens, hemodynamic monitoring, pulse oximetry and the set-up and use of a variety of monitoring systems. He/she may also be involved in other areas (ie. pulmonary function testing, SCNY, endoscopy, etc.) dependent upon demonstrated interest by the RCP and the needs of the department. He/she shall also be involved in departmental education programs, performance improvement programs, new projects and programs as requested, adhere to departmental quality, productivity and performance standards, provide input into annual capital equipment and operations budgets as requested, as well as other responsibilities as deemed appropriate by the RC Manager and/or Critical Care Director.
Job RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalency is mandatory; successful completion of a minimum of two (2) years of college education including Associate degree or Bachelor degree is preferred.One (1) year experience required.Must be a Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner as recognized by the NBRC.Must provide evidence of valid Oregon license to practice as an RCP.BLS from the AHA required upon hire.

Additional DetailsClear copy of drivers license required. If drivers license is unavailable, a passport or state ID can be used in its place.Name change/Discrepancy: As long as the proof of name change is on file and name change is in process on the license, then current docs are acceptable as placeholders.Required for non-licensed providers, PCA (Personal Care Attendants), PCT (Patient Care Tech)’s. Not Required for: Monitor Techs. High School or GED is preferred, vocational would work as well. Approval required from facility to run higher EDV for PCA/PCTs. EDV can be pending at start for those switched from CNA to PCA/PCT. This will not delay their start date.
