What are the responsibilities and job description for the Investment Banking Associate position at Salem Partners LLC?
We are looking for candidates for an investment banking associate role to join us in our Los Angeles office. The new hire will be involved in all facets of Salem Partners’ investment banking business, and will play a prominent role in the execution of sell side advisory and capital raising assignments while working directly with senior bankers and clients.
This role offers ample opportunity to take on significant responsibility as well as excellent exposure to top level industry executives, private equity firms, hedge funds and venture capital sources. This role is ideally suited to a motivated self-starter with a strong desire to learn. Specific responsibilities of the job include training and managing financial analysts, performing financial analysis and modeling, developing company and industry research, preparation of information memoranda and other marketing materials and managing the capital raising and M&A transaction process.
Candidates MUST HAVE significant direct investment banking experience. Industry expertise is not required, but experience in media and entertainment, real estate, healthcare / specialty pharma is a plus.
