Salem Press is a small business in Print & Electronic Media for the High School, College, and Public Library markets. We are highly regarded as a leading publisher of library reference materials in print and online.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a territory by identifying and targeting new customers and opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients through regular communication and account management
- Analyze sales data and develop strategies to increase revenue and market share
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues or concerns
- Utilize HubSpot to track sales activities, pipeline, and customer interactions
Experience:
- Strong sales skills with the ability to negotiate and close deals
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively present information to clients
- Experience in account management and customer service
We offer a competitive compensation package, including base salary of $35,000 plus commissions and incentives typically totaling $15,000-$25,000 per annum, as well as benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
