Position: Part-Time Library Page
Description: Salem Public Library is seeking energetic part-time workers to assist with our summer reading program and other special events both at the library and throughout the community. This is an excellent opportunity for high school and college students looking for summer employment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist with summer reading programs
- Support special programming events
- Help setup/cleanup library events
- Help prepare materials/supplies for library events
- Engage with community members of all ages, especially children
Requirements:
- Dependable and outgoing personality
- Enjoy working with people, particularly children
- Must pass a criminal background check
Starting wage will be min wage, average hours per week will be 10-12
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.70 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 12 per week
Work Location: In person
