Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Team Leader to oversee our bar operations at the ballpark. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the food and hospitality industry. As the Bar Team Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service, training staff, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Pre-Game Preparation:
- Stock all bars (main bar and two smaller bars) with beverages, mixers, ice, and supplies before gates open.
- Prepare pre-batched signature cocktails according to recipes.
- Game Day Oversight:
- Ensure all bars are fully operational and stocked during the game.
- Provide support to bartenders by addressing inventory or equipment needs.
- Post-Game Duties:
- Supervise the cleaning and proper shutdown of all bars.
- Perform inventory checks and communicate supply needs to the concessions manager.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety standards, including proper storage and handling of alcoholic beverages.
- Provide leadership and guidance to bartenders to ensure efficient service and teamwork.
Qualifications
- Must be able to work most game days, including Thursdays through Saturdays, with availability starting early afternoon through the end of the game.
- Minimum 1-2 years of bartending or bar management experience required.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Experience with batching cocktails and managing inventory preferred.
- Knowledge of alcohol safety and compliance regulations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
