To be considered for this position, applicants must have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and be actively registered with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy as a Certified Pharmacy Technician. They must also be able to provide proof of national certification from one of the Ohio Board of Pharmacy approved programs (PTCB or EXCPT). In addition, they should possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a strong commitment to patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Pharmacist with tasks such as filling prescriptions and processing medication orders
- Maintain accurate records, including patient information and medication orders
- Communicate clearly with patients, healthcare professionals, and other staff members
