The Full Time Certified Pharmacy Technician is a critical member of our healthcare team, working closely with the Pharmacist to ensure accurate and timely medication dispensing. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Fill prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Process medication orders, verifying accuracy and completeness
- Maintain accurate records, including patient information and medication orders
- Communicate clearly with patients, healthcare professionals, and other staff members
Requirements
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- Active registration with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy as a Certified Pharmacy Technician
- Proof of national certification from one of the Ohio Board of Pharmacy approved programs (PTCB or EXCPT)
