Salem Regional Medical Center has an exciting opportunity for a qualified Full Time Certified Pharmacy Technician. The Pharmacy Technician plays a vital role in assisting the Pharmacist with distributive and manipulative functions necessary for the performance of the Hospital Pharmacy consistent with legal and licensure restrictions. Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Pharmacist with tasks such as filling prescriptions, processing medication orders, and maintaining accurate records. They will also be expected to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, communicating clearly with patients, healthcare professionals, and other staff members.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and be actively registered with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy as a Certified Pharmacy Technician. They must also be able to provide proof of national certification from one of the Ohio Board of Pharmacy approved programs (PTCB or EXCPT).
