Position Overview : We are looking for a dedicated Office Team Member to join our accounting department as an Accounting Assistant. This role is crucial in supporting our financial operations and ensuring accuracy in our accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounts payable, proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Excel, and possess excellent organizational skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage accounts payable functions including processing invoices, verifying transactions, and reconciling statements.
- Utilize QuickBooks Desktop to accurately record financial transactions and maintain up-to-date records.
- Utilize Excel for data analysis, reporting, and creating financial spreadsheets.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and prepare financial reports as needed.
- Perform general bookkeeping activities such as journal entries, accounts reconciliations, and maintaining ledgers.
- Maintain communication with vendors regarding payments and resolve any discrepancies.
- Support the accounting team with administrative tasks and special projects as assigned.
