- Be at least 16 years of age.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Must be friendly, enthusiastic, and enjoy serving customers.
- Must have a source of reliable transportation.
- Ability to multitask and handle all front of the house equipment.
- Reading, writing, and basic math and verbal communication skills required.
- Work in a busy, noisy, fast paced environment. Must work well under pressure.
- Mobility required during shifts.
- Must be able to respond to changes or edits to orders quickly and efficiently.
- Florida safeStaff certificate is a plus.
Reporting:
- FOH associate reports directly to Shift Lead.
- Report any unusual incidents or issues to Assistant Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests, handle their requests/inquiries, and thank them dearly for choosing Salem’s.
- Follow recipes and read tickets to accurately prepare all orders.
- Work at a pace to maintain restaurant's established speed of service guidelines.
- Ensure that workstations are clean at all times.
- Ensure that cashiers follow cash handling procedures and execute proper security and cash handling and control processes and hold cashiers accountable to adhering to policies and procedures.
- Monitor dining room, restroom, parking lot and overall facility cleanliness.
- Perform any of the tasks above as needed throughout the shift.
- Address guest issues that may arise; consult with management regarding complex issues.
- Maintains a positive working relationship and treats all employees with respect while providing them with direction and feedback.
- Communicate employee performance and policy/procedure violations to management for appropriate handling.
- Strictly adheres to all Company policies and procedures.
- Adhere to health department codes.
- Answer incoming phone calls.
