We are currently seeking a Special Education teacher who are interested in working in a team environment to support learners’ in our autism program.
Qualified candidates will possess the following skills.
Requirements:
NH certification, special education teacher.
Work with students on the Autism Spectrum preferred.
Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Possess an understanding of the New Hampshire special education process.
Work as part of a multi-disciplinary student centered team.
Coordinate, write, and implement IEP's.
Facilitate parent meetings.
Develop behavior plans, schedules and lesson plans.
Supervise instructional assistants.
Implement instructional approaches using ABA techniques.
Assist classroom teachers in implementation of supports for integration of students.
Demonstrate a variety of computer literacy skills.
