Overview:
The Assistant Director is responsible for providing career counseling and programming in individual, small group formats, in-class presentations, and events for students and alumni in support of the development of students' short and long-term career goals. The Assistant Director also manages and teaches the Career Services Career Compass class. Assists in marketing career center programs campus-wide, and developing job and work-based learning opportunities.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Two-five years career counseling/experiential education experience in a college environment
- Experience with program promotion, development, and management
- Experience and ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Computer literate, experience with databases desirable (e.g., Handshake, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with career-related resources
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, written, and group presentation skills
- High-energy individual with the ability to juggle multiple tasks
Working Location
This is a hybrid position in Salem, MA with some on-campus, in-person responsibilities.
