Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Excellent computer skills.
- A phlebotomist certificate is helpful but not required.
- Responsible for guest relations, interpersonal skills, and patient confidentiality.
Job Summary
- Obtain appropriate venous capillary or arterial specimens for testing.
- Collect urine specimens for DOT/Industrial accounts.
- Enter orders into the LIS.
- Obtain signed ABNs.
- Prepare copies of reports, type procedures, and file reports.
- Answer phones.
- Process specimens and prepare for send-out if needed.
- Review charges, log specimens, and restock department.
Schedule
- Float Pool (Eligible for PTO)
Hourly Pay Range
- $17.00 – $20.40
Actual hourly pay rate depends on experience (DOE).
