Position Summary:
Salem University is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our admissions team as a Remote Admissions Representative. As an Admissions Representative, you will play a pivotal role in assisting prospective students through the admissions process, providing information about programs, and guiding them toward making informed decisions about their educational journey. Reports to: Executive Director of Enrollment Operations and Assistant Director of Admissions.
Outreach and Engagement:
Initiate and maintain contact with prospective students via phone, email, and other channels.
Conduct informative and engaging virtual presentations to highlight Salem University's programs, admissions process, and campus resources.
Assist prospective students by explaining program requirements, application procedures, and financial aid options during the admissions process. Evaluate and assess prospective students' qualifications and provide guidance on program suitability.
Collaborate with relevant departments to streamline application processing and facilitate a smooth transition for accepted students.
Relationship Building:
Build and maintain positive relationships with prospective students, high school counselors, and other stakeholders.
Represent Salem University professionally during virtual events, webinars, and information sessions.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or previous experience in admissions, sales, or customer service
Excellent communication and people skills, both written and verbal.
Comfortable with virtual communication tools and technology.
Initiative-taking and able to work independently. Has a history of having personal accountability.

Salary:
Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan.
