MEDICATION TECHNICIAN – PRN 12 HOUR SHIFT
Salemtowne is a nonprofit Life Plan Community (Continuing Care Retirement Community) located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina that provides the highest standards and options for seniors at all stages. The Medical Technician supports, in an Assisted Living (AL) setting, the provision of high-quality resident care by following physician orders, encouraging resident independence, adhering to individualized care plans, promoting a secure environment, etc.
How You Will Help Every Life Shine:
- Supports the provision of high-quality resident care by following physician orders, encouraging resident independence, adhering to individualized care plans, promoting a secure environment, etc.
- Encourages the independent performance of residents’ activities of daily living to the extent everyone’s condition permits and provides assistance with residents’ activities of daily living as needed by performing duties including, but not limited to assisting residents to dining rooms; assisting residents at mealtimes; assist with bathing as needed; etc.
- Supports residents’ security, comfort, and sense of well-being by responding promptly and courteously to routine physical needs
What You Will Need:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Completion of state-certified medication administration course.
- Six (6) months' previous experience in a health care setting.
