How YOU will Contribute:
The Director of Life Enrichment cultivates and sustains state-of-the-art, holistic, healthful living opportunities for residents in IL that promote all dimensions of wellness. Educates residents and facilitates individual desires to live well at Salemtowne. Evaluates the effectiveness of life enrichment programs/services and adjusts for continued improvement. Collaborates successfully with marketing/sales to promote the holistic wellness culture at Salemtowne to the broader community. Streamlines processes, maintains well-managed operations, and handles special projects.

Requirements for a Director of Life Enrichment with Salemtowne:
- Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field such as Health & Wellness, Health Promotion, Gerontology, Recreation Leisure, or related Human Services field. A Therapeutic Recreation degree is preferred.
- Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years' related work experience with program management and older adults, including substantial staff supervision/leadership experience.
- Five (5) or more years' experience working on strategic development and execution of a holistic wellness program.
- Certified Therapeutic Recreation Therapist Specialist (CTRS) preferred.
- Current professional certification from a nationally recognized organization in the health/fitness industry (e.g., ACSM/HFS, CHES) preferred.
- Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification (or must obtain within three (3) months from date of hire).
