Speech and Language Pathologist- SLP
2 Positions Total
Location: Salemwood
(position contingent upon enrollment)
Qualifications (Required):
- Valid License as a Speech and Language Pathologist
- Successful teaching experience.
- Experience implementing direct speech services, including articulation, receptive and expressive language needs, and social communication.
- Ability to relate /communicate effectively with teachers, students, parents, and administrators.
- Teachers must commit to being present for each day of the program. See dates below for more info.
Qualifications (Preferred):
- Experience working in the Malden Public Schools.
- SEI Endorsement.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement ESY Curriculum for students on IEP’s.
- Complete planning logs for each session and maintain student attendance records.
- Keep folders/portfolios with student work.
- Perform other related activities as required by the Program Coordinator.
- Develop Progress Reports at the end of the ESY Program.
Duration:
- 83 hours total to include the following:
- Professional In-service Day (7/1/2025 - 3 hours).
- 20 days, Monday-Thursday, from July 7– August 7 (7:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.).
Stipend: $37 an hour, $3,071 (20 days/5 hrs 1 inservice at 3 hours)
