We’re seeking a Senior UI/UX Developer to lead the charge in crafting intuitive, scalable, and high-impact user experiences. This role combines your exceptional design expertise with technical acumen to build innovative solutions, scalable design systems, and polished interfaces. As a senior team member, you’ll mentor others, collaborate cross-functionally, and directly influence Saleo’s product evolution.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Leadership:
- Lead the creation of user-centered designs in Figma, focusing on clarity, usability, and consistency.
- Drive the development of wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI designs that meet user and business goals.
- Leverage data, user feedback, and research to iterate on and refine designs for maximum impact.
Design Systems Ownership:
- Build, maintain, and scale a comprehensive design system to ensure consistency and efficiency across all Saleo products.
- Define and document reusable design guidelines, standards, and patterns.
UI/UX Component Development:
- Develop and implement reusable, interactive UI components optimized for responsive and adaptive designs.
- Use motion design principles to enhance UI interactions with tools like Framer Motion, Lottie, or CSS animations.
- Knowledge of design tokens and scalable component libraries.
- Experience designing for B2B SaaS products.
Feature Integration:
- Ensure seamless integration of new features into the broader product ecosystem, reinforcing design coherence and usability.
- Proactively research and implement innovative design solutions to elevate the user experience.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, customers, customer facing teams, and other stakeholders to align product vision, feasibility, and execution.
- Translate complex design concepts into production-ready code with pixel-perfect precision.
- Contribute to R&D efforts, exploring and prototyping new approaches to solving complex design challenges.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Design Mastery: Extensive experience with Figma for wireframing, prototyping, and creating production-ready UI designs.
- Design Systems Expertise: Proven success in building, maintaining, and scaling design systems.
- Frontend Development: Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS (e.g., Tailwind CSS), JavaScript, and modern frameworks like React.
- Motion Design: Expertise in creating motion-enhanced UI interactions using tools like Framer Motion, Lottie, or others.
- Collaboration: Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with experience working across product, design, and engineering teams.
- Accessibility: Strong understanding of web standards and best practices.
- Problem-Solving: A strategic, user-centered approach to solving complex UX/UI challenges.
