Sales Advisors of Florida is hiring a Real Estate Title Specialist for Eck, Conley & Richardson, PLLC - Real Estate Title Experience Required
Position Description:
Due to aggressive company growth, we are adding this new position to our team and are looking for a conscientious person who thrives on managing multiple deadlines and priorities and meticulously follows company and state compliance standards. In this role you will search public records and examine documents to determine the legal conditions of vacation ownership properties in a high-volume production environment. Upon review, you will summarize the conditions of titles to determine the next steps, i.e., recordability, etc. Projects can vary by developer and require thinking outside the box, meeting service level agreements, and managing large volumes.
Responsibilities:
· Review abstract records, such as mortgages, liens, judgments, easements, vital statistics, and plat and map books to determine ownership and legal restrictions to verify legal description of property
· Perform real estate title examinations
· Review title evidence package, verifying information against product requirements and adherence to Service Level Agreements
· Perform real estate title search and examination of the chain of title in multiple states for orders
· Prepare initial title products including but not limited to volume-based search worksheets and commitments based on the application of procedural guidelines
· Identify issues such as missing information, incomplete, inaccurate, or contradictory information contained in title documentation
· Escalate issues to more experienced team members or underwriting for assistance
· Occasionally perform other duties as assigned by Management
Required Experience/Skills:
· Real Estate Title Searching Experience required
· Timeshare Experience a plus
· Working knowledge of practices, theories, and policies involved in title insurance
· Understanding of power of attorneys, bankruptcies, and probate as it relates to real property conveyance
· Follow and consistently use established procedures to perform assigned tasks
· Work on projects and tasks that are routine in nature and are large volume
· Superior verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
· Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
