THIS WILL BE AN ON-SITE JOB
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of various events including corporate meetings, weddings, and community events
- Coordinate with vendors, venues, and suppliers to ensure all aspects of the events are covered and on schedule
- Help with the setup and breakdown of events, ensuring all materials and equipment are properly arranged and functioning
- Assist in managing event budgets and keeping track of expenses
- Provide on-site support during events, helping with registrations, guest inquiries, and troubleshooting when needed
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and insights for future improvements
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required
- Strong interest in event planning and a desire to learn more about the industry
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients, vendors, and team members
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic knowledge of event management software is a plus
