Pay Range:
$21.50 - $28.00 per hour
THIS WILL BE AN ON-SITE JOB
Location: Chicago, IL
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and coordination of events from conception to execution.
- Communicate with vendors and suppliers to secure necessary services and materials.
- Help in the preparation and distribution of event materials such as invitations and programs.
- Support the event team with on-site set up and breakdown of events, ensuring everything is in place before guests arrive.
- Manage guest lists and RSVP tracking, ensuring all attendees are accounted for.
- Provide administrative support including scheduling meetings and maintaining event calendars.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive and team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required for events.
- Basic knowledge of event planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
