About this position:
As a Business Development Representative, you'll play a key role in driving sales pipeline growth by identifying, qualifying, and creating new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in high-volume cold calling and a strong desire to continually improve their sales skills. In this position, you will:
- Make 100 outbound prospecting calls daily to potential clients, focusing on businesses that would benefit from Sales Gravy’s services.
- Use phone, email, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms to generate leads and increase prospecting outreach.
- Qualify leads, schedule discovery calls or demos for the sales team, and maintain a strong, consistent follow-up strategy.
- Manage an accurate, detailed prospect database using our CRM system.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to refine messaging and improve lead-generation strategies.
- Track and report on lead generation performance using CRM and sales tools, adjusting outreach strategies as necessary.
- Master the art of presenting Sales Gravy's core services and training curriculum.
- Provide support to clients and prospects via phone, email, and online chat.
- Other responsibilities as needed
What you’ll bring:
- 1-2 years of experience in a sales development, business development, or lead generation role
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle rejection positively.
- A robust work ethic and openness to feedback.
- CRM experience preferred
