THE JOB :

This is a great opportunity for a mechanically inclined industrial Territory Sales or Project Management professional located in Oregon.

This remote and in the field opening involves specifying mechanical products into large construction projects (airports, data centers, semiconductor plants, life science, higher education, EV, etc). Day-to-day you could be in a boardroom speaking with executives, or on a job site surveying a commercial project with developers. You'd collaborate with other engineering and support team members to meet customer requirements as projects are completed.

Growing and maintaining business relationships with mechanical engineers and owners is critical in this role.

The company empowers its team to entertain customers a couple of times per week via happy hours, lunches / dinners, sporting events, etc. Most of your time will be spent in the Portland, Oregon Metro Area, but there is also up to 30% overnight travel to visit key accounts.

THE QUALIFICATIONS :

  • 7 years of experience in industrial customer-facing territory sales or mechanical project management
  • Preferred experience working in manufacturing, construction, general contracting, or MEP engineering firms
  • Mechanical and / or commercial HVAC aptitude
  • Enjoys socializing and networking with customers
  • Must live in Oregon, able to travel throughout the territory (up to 30% overnight travel)
  • College degree required
