Regional Sales Manager
We are looking for an experienced Technical Sales Professional to manage sales in the Western Half of the U.S. We're a reputable, 60 year old business that has been providing custom power solutions to organizations with seamless backup power needs. Our clients range from Manufacturers to Datacenters, and even Hospitals and Healthcare.
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will be responsible for managing sales alongside our independent representative network. This includes providing training and education materials, coaching on new products, and working closely with the end-user to ensure a successful execution of the installation. Typical sales cycles can be as short as 3 months, or as long as several years.
This is a high travel position (75%) for sales professionals who are experienced in complex, technical sales cycles.
Compensation is approximately 140k in first year earnings. Salary ranges from 100k - 120k with an annual bonus of approximately ~25k based on performance. Full W2 position with benefits, expenses, auto program, etc.
Typical Qualifications
- 10 Years in b2b sales
- Bachelors Degree or great (preferably in mechanical or electrical engineering)
- Experience traveling 50%
- Experience in long, complex sales cycles
- Background in Power & Energy a plus but not required
