Slack for Good is looking for an Associate Program Manager to own our nonprofit success program and assist with the pilot of a workforce development program. You will report to the Senior Program Manager of Slack for Good and play a critical role in the success and adoption of nonprofit customers using Slack. You will also help candidates from diverse and underrepresented backgrounds successfully complete an intensive training program on the path to full-time employment.

While these are two distinct programs, they both require a creative, passionate and results-oriented individual to drive awareness and adoption through programs and initiatives that will position Slack as a leader in the rapidly-changing corporate social impact landscape.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Partnership management: Develop long-term relationships with key nonprofit customers and become a strategic partner and advocate for them within Slack. Work with Salesforce internal teams to scope out and implement the integration of the Slack for Nonprofits program into existing and developing processes and platforms.

  • Slack for Nonprofits: Work in tandem with Customer Experience as a key decision maker regarding maintenance and improvement of the Slack for Nonprofits program. Operationalize reporting on the Slack for Nonprofits program against established important metrics. Support Slack employees to use volunteer time off to help nonprofit organizations be successful at using Slack.

  • Workforce development program management: Assist in the creation of promotional material and workshops for a new workforce development program. Facilitate information sessions at partner organizations in order to source candidates for a new workforce development program.

  • Employee-led philanthropy: Facilitate employee-led donations to nonprofit organizations in line with Slack for Good’s mission.


Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • 3-5 years of experience in program management and/or experience in an analytical role such as consulting, strategy, operations or related expertise.

  • Experience using Slack at an advanced level.

  • Excellent communication skills to convey a clear view and vision, collaborate with senior executives, and communicate clearly across global teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects and coordinate with staff, consultants, vendors and other partners in a fast-paced environment.

  • Creative problem solving to develop collaborative solutions across diverse partners.

  • Must be technically minded.

  • Strong sense of humor. Very strong.

  • Ability to navigate uncharted waters on a super lean but mighty team.

For Colorado-based roles: Minimum annual salary of $ $83,200 . You may also be entitled to receive bonus and benefits.
