Role Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Development Representative to join our growing team. This is a hybrid role, requiring in-office presence for collaboration while allowing some remote flexibility.
As an SDR, you will be responsible for driving lead generation, building relationships with potential clients, and supporting the sales team in growing our Salesforce consulting and IT services business.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect & Qualify Leads: Identify and engage potential clients through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn, networking, and local/national tradeshows.
- Cold Calling & Business Card Prospecting: Make cold calls to potential clients, organize visiting cards, and turn them into leads and contacts.
- Engage Decision-Makers: Initiate conversations with C-level executives, sales leaders, and IT managers to understand their business needs.
- Educate & Position Solutions: Effectively communicate the value of our Salesforce consulting services and proprietary solutions.
- Write Prospect Cold Emails: Develop tailored cold emails for outreach to prospects, ensuring messaging aligns with their pain points and needs.
- Manage Sales Pipeline: Track and update leads in Salesforce, ensuring timely follow-ups and progress through the sales funnel.
- Schedule Discovery Calls: Set up qualified meetings between prospects and the sales/consulting team.
- Collaborate with Marketing: Provide feedback on messaging, campaigns, and lead generation strategies.
- Achieve & Exceed KPIs: Meet and exceed goals for lead generation, outreach, and booked meetings.
Qualifications & Skills
- 1-3 years of experience in B2B sales, technology sales, or SaaS (Salesforce experience preferred).
- Understanding of CRM and cloud technologies (Salesforce knowledge is a strong plus).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Highly motivated with a proactive approach to sales prospecting.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
- Experience with sales tools like Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo is a plus.
- Must be able to work in our office several days per week (hybrid role).
