Warehouse Shipper/Receiver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to join our dynamic team. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Shipper/Receiver is responsible for shipping and receiving of agricultural parts and following company quality standards. The role plays a crucial part in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting the overall efficiency of our operations.

Duties

• Ensure the accuracy and quality of shipping/receiving contents. Compare, create and maintain all records such as packing slips, BOL’s, invoices and transfer orders
• Follow standard work procedures for shipping/receiving
• Ensure the timely and accurate delivery or route of materials to our customers
• Maintain quality records for reporting, accounting and record keeping purposes. Solve any inaccurate discrepancies with the return goods or packing slips.
• Identify any inaccurate inventories and notify Supervisor
• Follow standard operating procedures and quality control procedures.
• Operate forklift in a safe manner.
• Actively participates in continuous improvements, lean initiatives, and other related activities.
• Work in accordance with Health & Safety regulations, Company rules, policies, and procedures.

Academic/Educational Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred

Required Skills/Experience

• Shipping/receiving experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Computer and reading skills (Microsoft, Excel, Word, ERP systems preferred)
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs with the assistance of a lifting device.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Ability to operate forklift and overhead crane (training will be provided).
• Highly organized, proactive, can work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent time management skills
• Must be able to communicate effectively both written and verbal.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, attention to detail.
• Physically demanding – bending, crouching, walking, standing for extended periods of time.

Working Conditions

• Standard 40 hours per week/Overtime when necessary
• Indoor, outdoor when needed
• Physically demanding – bending, crouching, walking, standing for extended periods of time
• Must wear protective or safety equipment such as safety shoes, glasses, and hearing protection

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
