In this key role, you’ll support the Director, foster team growth, and ensure smooth daily operations for quality, productivity, and policy compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor the HIM Operations team, modeling goals and identifying new training or skill development opportunities
• Be a go-to resource, offering problem-solving support and clear direction to employees
• Onboard and mentor new team members while assisting with the hiring process
• Conduct quality reviews, performance evaluations, and ensure top-tier customer service
• Oversee operations to ensure continuous improvement in productivity, compliance, and customer satisfaction

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Required Experience:

• A minimum of five years in HIM/Medical Records department , patient financial services department, provider practice, or other healthcare setting;
• Electronic health records experience; and
• Customer service

Preferred Experience:

• Team lead or supervisory experience

Preferred Education:

• Associate degree or higher
• Completed course in medical
• Credentials
  • RHIT
  • RHIA
  • CHPS
