What You’ll Do:
- Comprehensive Patient Care: Independently assess and evaluate patient health, create care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions.
- Patient Advocacy: Act as a voice for patients, ensuring their needs and well-being are prioritized at every stage of care.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises nursing staff during assigned shifts, ensuring the smooth and effective operation of the department. Responsibilities are carried out in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures, and applicable laws. Specific duties include:
- Training and developing nursing staff to ensure adherence to standards of care.
- Planning, assigning, and directing nursing work in an efficient and effective manner.
- Appraising staff performance regularly, providing feedback, and recognizing accomplishments.
- Rewarding and disciplining nursing staff in accordance with established policies.
- Addressing employee complaints and resolving work-related issues promptly to maintain a positive work environment.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational guidelines

Qualifications:
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Must maintain current, active license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado.
- Must maintain current CPR certification.
- Must maintain current ACLS,TNCC, PALS or ENPC
- NRP is required within 6 months from date of hire. Maintaining this certification is required however if there is a lapse due to expiration and timing of local course availability, the Nurse Supervisor will achieve re-certification within 6 months of the expiration
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Associate's degree (ADA); and minimum one year of experience which includes ER, ICU and/or OB.
- BSN preferred.
