Join Our Team as a Rehab Tech to work PRN - on call as needed at Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center.
Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in a healthcare setting? HRRMC’s Rehab Department is seeking a PRN ( on call as needed ) Rehab Tech to support our physical, occupational, and speech therapy teams. You’ll play a key role in providing outstanding patient care and ensuring smooth clinic operations.
What You'll Do:
Patient Responsibilities:
- Answer phones and direct calls to the appropriate departments or assist with scheduling and changes.
- Respond to patient messages, take orders from walk-ins, and ensure timely follow-up.
- Check in patients, ensuring they’re registered in our system and notify providers of arrivals.
- Assist therapists with patient treatments and modalities such as ice packs.
- Prepare treatment areas and ensure everything is stocked and clean for each patient.
Equipment Responsibilities:
- Ensure treatment areas and equipment are stocked and ready for daily use.
- Assist with cleaning and maintaining equipment such as hydrocollators and exercise machines.
- Monitor supply levels and place orders as needed.
Clerical Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls and facilitate communication between patients, providers, and insurance companies.
- Help schedule therapy visits, manage cancellations, and assist with rescheduling.
- Order and maintain office and clinical supplies.
- Assist with clerical tasks, including data collection, mail processing, and photocopying.
Mentorship:
- Provide guidance and mentorship to volunteers, ensuring they understand clerical and cleaning duties.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Business curriculum preferred and three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent or combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Must maintain current CPR certification.
