We are looking for a visionary Director of Marketing to lead our digital outreach initiatives and shape the future of our region’s economic landscape.
Role Summary:
As the Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive digital marketing strategies that enhance the visibility and appeal of Saline County, Kansas as a premier destination for business, tourism, workforce development, investment, and community life. You will lead a dynamic team to engage audiences through innovative digital campaigns, content creation, and strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
§ Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a cutting-edge digital marketing strategy that aligns with the division's goals and objectives.
§ Brand Management: Oversee the brand's digital presence, ensuring consistency and impact across all platforms and mediums.
§ Content Development: Lead the creation of compelling content that tells the story of Saline County, Kansas, including blog posts, videos, and social media campaigns.
§ Data Analysis: Utilize analytics and data insights to inform strategies, measure performance, and identify opportunities for growth.
§ Partnership Cultivation: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including local businesses, community organizations, and media outlets.
§ Team Leadership: Build, inspire and manage a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning.
§ Budget Management: Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to maximize impact.
Qualifications:
§ Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
§ Minimum of 7 years of experience in digital marketing or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
§ Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital marketing strategies.
§ Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, SEO, content management systems, and analytics software.
§ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
§ Creative and analytical thinker with a passion for community development and economic growth.
§ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
