What are the responsibilities and job description for the EMPLOYEE HEALTH NURSE position at Salina Regional Health Center?
Position Summary :
Administers the functions of the Employee Health Program and Workers' Compensation. Prioritizes and assists with programs / plans to achieve the outcome goals of the program including increased level of employee wellness, increased employee satisfaction, prevention of communicable disease, decrease in number of lost work days in Worker's Compensation, compliance with regulatory standards, and decreased costs related to employee health issues.
- POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum Experience
- Experience with Worker's Compensation and OSHA regulatory standards preferred.
- Required Registration / License / Certification
- Basic Life Support certification from either American Red Cross CPR / AED for Health Care Provider or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider) successfully obtained within the first 90 days of employment
- Occupational Health Nursing Certification preferred
Minimum Education
Associate Degree, or Diploma Degree, in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing
Three years experience in an adult clinical healthcare setting
Current Kansas registered nurse license
