Hospitalist Team –
· Nine hospitalists on staff 1 APP (positions open for day shift hospitalist and nocturnist)
· Share call with a team of 4 physicians from 7 am to 7 pm, NO OVERNIGHT calls unless hired as a nocturnist or covering overnight shift
· Enjoy the balance of community, family & career with a schedule of 7 days on/ 7 days off
· Ability to make extra income by picking up additional hospitalist, inpatient rehab, or urgent care shifts
· Unique opportunity to live in a mid-sized community but see the pathology of a larger city
· Hybrid ICU w/ intensivist coverage; procedures and rounding in ICU optional
· Average patient encounters are 14 -16; capped at 20 patient encounters per day
· Open to J1 and H1 Visa candidates
· TEACH! Salina is home to KU School of Medicine-Salina and Smoky Hill Family Medicine Residency
· Non-profit, 501(c)3 facility and qualifies under the Federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program
